img Two of our DBA graduates, Dr. Alison Chan and Dr. Clement Au presented at the 2019 British Academy of Management (BAM) annual conference held in Birmingham, UK on 3rd-5th September 2019. Graduated in 2017, the research papers of Alison and Clement were accepted for presentation as full papers in the BAM conference, showing the high research quality of our DBA graduates.

One more DBA graduate Dr. Judy Jiang joined Alison and Clement and three of them attended the Engaged Management Scholarship (EMS) Conference 2019 on 5th-8th September in Antwerp, Belgium. Judy was graduated in 2018 and is the graduate of our DBA China class. Guided by Prof. Wei Liqun from the Department of Management, the three DBA graduates presented their papers which were all accepted by the conference and received very positive feedback from conference participants. They all aim to further polish their papers for future journal publication.

BAM is a leading authority in the academic field of management. The BAM annual conference is one of the most prestigious international events for business and management scholars. Click here for details. EMS, organized by the Executive DBA Council (EDBA), provides a good opportunity for doctoral students and recent graduates to share and develop their research ideas. The EDBA was founded in 2011 with a mission to foster excellence and innovation in executive doctoral degree programmes worldwide. Click here for details. As an increasingly active member of EMS and EDBA, and with more of our DBA candidates and graduates attending this important annual conference for executive doctorates, this can further enhance the international exposure of our DBA programme as well as our Business school and HKBU in general.
